Our Story
The Name Black & Beryll Eye Care represents a duality of seeing and not seeing.
The word “Black” Is the absorption of all colour wavelengths in the visual spectrum. It also represents darkness or blindness.
The word “Beryll” is short for Beryllium Aluminium, which is a colourless, clear gemstone and one of the first documented materials used as an instrument of seeing.
The words together represent the general idea of Optometric practice.
